About the role: Tyro is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team as a key member of our centralised program delivery function.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's key projects from inception to completion.
You will develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Additionally, you will identify and address project risks, issues, and dependencies as they arise.
What you'll do: Develop and Manage Project Plans : Work with stakeholders to create and maintain a comprehensive Project Plan covering scope, milestones, budget, resources, and completion criteria.
Ensure Business Impact Consideration : Ensure the project's impact on Tyro's business is fully considered and reflected in the Project Plan.
Follow Tyro Delivery Framework : Advocate for and adhere to the Tyro Delivery Framework to ensure successful project lifecycle management, from planning to execution.
Identify and Resolve Dependencies : Identify project dependencies and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve them, ensuring smooth project execution.
Track Progress and Report : Own the Project Plan, track progress, manage risks, and regularly report the project's status to stakeholders.
Conduct Retros : Facilitate retrospectives on completed projects to capture feedback and lessons learned, sharing insights with the Program Delivery team.
What you'll bring: Previous experience in end-to-end management of business/technology projects within Payments or related fields.
Expertise in developing comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones Proven ability to establish strong project governance and controls to ensure quality outcomes Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills, with a proven ability to maintain effective relationships, align projects with business objectives, and negotiate trade-offs between business needs and project feasibility.
Strong analytical skills to develop metrics, track project health, and measure the success of deliverables.
