About the RoleRole Location: Melbourne or Sydney

The Project Manager will support the Strategy Investment Lead in execution of the Wealth Strategy Program which aims at shaping the future of ANZ Private Bank.
The role will be responsible to ensure adherence of the project activities to ANZ methodologies, policies, and practices, such as the ANZ Delivery Framework guidelines and controls and the Commercial Transformation Management Office governance and processes.
The Project Manager will implement project management methodologies and techniques to successfully deliver program objectives within the allocated budget and agreed timelines, and to build, coordinate and supervise resources assigned to the project team.
What will your day look like?This role is accountable for:
Establishing a robust project management framework to successfully deliver Program objectives within the allocated budget and agreed timelines.Ensuring adherence of project activities and deliverables to ANZ methodologies, policies, and practices.Implementing controls and developing artefacts required by the ANZ Delivery Framework.Timely producing program status reports and detailed project budget analysis.Supporting the coordination of program Steering Committees, including the preparation of meeting packs and minutes taking.Identifying Program resource needs, coordinating the hiring and training of project team resources.Managing Program risks, issues and dependencies, developing and supervising risk and issue treatment actions.Collaborating with risk and compliance teams to assess and manage delivery and operational risks.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
10+ years' experience in managing large transformation projects and programs.
Solid proficiency in program and project management methodologies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in monitoring and tracking the progress of projects; providing regular status reports; overseeing project financials; tracking benefits; effective risk and issue management; tracking and managing dependencies; planning and scheduling of project activities.
Supervision and coordination of project resources.
Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and key stakeholders.
Working experience in the financial services industry.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
