Your contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as an industry leader.The OpportunityThe Project Manager is accountable for managing key allocated contracts and/or individual cabinetry projects from check measure through to installation completion. The focus is to ensure that all cabinetry projects are processed accurately, efficiently and to a high level of detail through all stages of the manufacturing and installation phase. Customer service and satisfaction is a crucial element of this role, ensuring communication, professionalism and delivery of a high quality end product is achieved.This role would suit an experienced trade person looking to take the next step in their career.The right candidate will be:An excellent communicator, both verbally and writtenSomeone with the ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally, and adapt your communication style to meet the needs of trades, external suppliers and customersSolutions focused, proactive and positiveOrganised and methodical in their approach, and have a good work ethicTypical duties will include:Ensure designs and selections are correct and accurate during all stages by completing check measures in line with documentation standards, and checking site measurements against CAD cabinet designs, including wall measurements, door positions, window placements, and waste positions.Ensure selections and designs are feasible prior to completing order by checking footprint of layouts, site readiness, trade preparation, delivery access and material and colour requestEnsure appliance and cabinetry fit by checking and confirming new kitchen appliance specifications, including oven heights and depths, range hood cabinet configurations, hotplate sizes, power sources, sink, trough & vanity basin specifications.Manage the installation of kitchens or joinery in new and existing homes ensuring adherence to schedule, resulting in timely and cost effective completion.Assist with the development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information.Maintaining clear and accurate records including communication records, diary inputs, service logbook entries, job information and incident reporting allowing for easy future reference.Ensure jobs are completed safely and correctly (by all trades), ensure that jobs have been inspected for quality and workmanship (including stone & glass) and that any issues or concerns are responded to promptly.Ensuring contractor and employee compliance with standards, best practice and legal obligations as defined by the industry, organisation, our customers and governing legislation including white card compliance, and appropriate licences and insurances.Ideally, you will have:Significant trade knowledge within the cabinet making/joinery fieldProject Management experience within the cabinetry/joinery field, or other industriesWhat we can offer you:Company Culture: Be part of a diverse and inclusive workplace where different perspectives are valued and every employee is encouraged to contribute their unique ideas.Flexible Leave Days: Take up to 4 flexible leave days per year to maintain a work/life balanceRare Opportunity: Being a Project Manager for one of SA's leading kitchen manufacturing companies doesn't present itself very often.
