Details of the offer

DescriptionAre you an experienced Project Manager seeking to join a reputable commercial construction company with year-on-year growth? You'll bring experience in commercial construction project management; we'll provide the energetic staff to support you and set you up for success.
About the role You'll be joining our Project Management Team delivering projects from $500K to $5M. We're a flexible builder who undertakes a wide range of projects, so you will be exposed to a number of different project types, clients and various project sizes. You'll be responsible for managing programme, overseeing the project budget, and leading the project team consisting of a Contract Administrator and Site Manager, including some mentoring along the way.
Reporting directly to our Managing Director Callan, you'll also have the support of our Construction and Administration teams to assist and support through day-to-day activities. You'll have a laptop, company phone, and work primarily at our newly refurbished office in Klemzig – free off-site parking just northeast of the CBD.

Here are 5 things we think will make you ideal for this role: Past experience in Project Manager roles in the commercial construction industry.Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures, specifically with how to build and manage a project program using MS Project.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Enthusiasm to pass on your knowledge to others with a positive and can-do attitude. Here are 3 reasons why we hope you'll love working for us: Work Environment – We take our work seriously but not ourselves. This means, our work is of a high standard first and foremost, but you'll also enjoy coming to work each day.Empowerment – We'll back you in! We trust that you make the right decisions and in turn you will have scope to challenge the norm and improve processes.Industry Leading – Clients and Subcontractors love working with us! With a vision statement of being "the most trusted builder", it's not difficult to understand why.And here are 3 reasons why we're afraid you might not: Whilst we do a wide variety of work, we don't build skyscrapers in the CBD. If your interest is in large or high-rise construction, that's not us, and we're not meant to be.We are a medium-sized family builder and rely on our team to all be hands on and help wherever needed. If you're not prepared to roll up your sleeves and show the team how it's done, then this isn't the role for you.We rely on trust and independence, we're not into micro-management or handholding. If you find it hard to take ownership and be held accountable, we're probably not the best choice for you.Apply: If you think we could be a good fit for each other, we'd love to hear from you! Really want to work with us?
We do get a lot of applications, but plenty of them are generic. So if you're keen, a personalised cover letter really will help you stand out - we will definitely read it! Not sure what to share? Tell us something you know and understand, that most people don't know. Why you think we'd be great together?
Role TypeCompany OverviewBecoming the most trusted building company in our industry means trusting and believing in each other first. With a workforce of nearly 60 people we have developed a culture where our people thrive. We love our work together and the banter that goes with it!
