The Centre for Heart Rhythm Disorders (CHRD) at the University of Adelaide seeks a highly motivated Project Manager to join a multidisciplinary research team investigating novel approaches to managing atrial fibrillation (AF) and stroke.
Project Overview: This exciting opportunity involves managing the complex "Managing the First Pillar for Atrial Fibrillation and Stroke" study, focusing on:
Randomised clinical trialsfor AF reversibility and stroke prevention. Bench-to-bedside studiestargeting AF substrate formation. Software-assisted program implementationfor standardized AF management. Risk factor management strategiesin stroke patients with potential AF. Responsibilities: Oversee assigned research projects, ensuring efficient execution, adherence to timelines, and data quality. Collaborate with the clinical trials team, researchers, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution. Prepare comprehensive reports to sponsors, ethical committees, and regulatory bodies. Maintain robust communication with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Master's degree in project management, clinical research, or a related field ideal but not crucial. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in clinical research projects. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Understanding of research ethics and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in clinical trial management software and data analysis tools. Join us and play a critical role in groundbreaking research for AF and stroke management. To be successful you will need: Experience in project management, including adherence to sound practices such as project planning, executing plans, monitoring and reporting, achieving milestones and managing relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentations, publications, grant and ethics applications. Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise work and work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills to work collegially as part of a team and with a wide range of stakeholder groups. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in computer skills. This position requires a valid National Police Check.
