We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing GatewaySA project at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview We are redefining the way the main cargo gateway of South Australia works in our GatewaySA Terminal Transformation project. As part of that, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering various infrastructure and equipment initiatives for the Gateway SA project within scope, timeline, and budget.
This Project Manager's objective is to manage, direct and control the delivery of project packages within the greater program. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages resources, and communicates with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, specifications, project plans, schedules, budgets and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, team members, and senior leadership;Support the project team in executing tasks according to the project plan. Monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and proactively manage risks to ensure successful project completion;Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that the necessary tools, skills, and support to achieve project objectives are in place:Facilitate clear and timely communication among project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, project reports, and presentations as required;Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards and adhere to best practices;Identify and manage project scope changes, assess their potential impact on timelines and budgets, and communicate these changes to stakeholders;Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential negative impacts on the project;Execute project works in coordination with other GatewaySA project initiatives, other works in or adjacent the same site, and with minimal as possible impact to ongoing Terminal operations; andEnsure commissioning, documentation and handover of asset information is completed.About you Your skills and experience will include;
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering or Project Management or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience;Previous experience successfully delivering complex initiatives during simultaneous Business as Usual (BAU) and Project operations;Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, software, tools, and best practices;Advanced leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders;Demonstrated ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively;Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.;Experience using software systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint;Continuous improvement and value focussed mindset, with achievement-oriented approach; andHold a Valid Driver's Licence.Flinders Port Holdings know that people are central to everything that we do.
