As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our community's infrastructure landscape.
You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to strategically manage our projects across the municipality to meet deadlines and budgetary requirements while ensuring their sustainability, functionality, and long-term value.

About the role:
Position Overview: We are looking for a Project Manager.
This role is perfect for those who have had either a civil, building or water background or similar, along with project and contract management experience.

Key Requirements:
· Tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or Civil Engineering (or similar) is preferred.
· Extensive and diverse experience and proven success in designing and managing projects.
· Knowledge of the workings of Local Government will be advantageous.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Self-motivated with a natural curiosity.
· Attention to detail and a focused work approach.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage project scopes, communication, and project management plans.
· Develop, manage, and monitor risk management plans.
· Effectively manage projects on time and within budgetary limits.
· Be responsible for the day-to-day decision-making regarding programs and site activities.
· Actively develop and maintain cooperative relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
· Be responsible for managing staff or contractors in delivering designated projects.
· Be responsible for all budget updates, progress claims, and invoicing.
· Represent the Council at community consultation meetings associated with project development and delivery.
