We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Civil Project Engineers with a desire for a career in capital projects implementation.
As an ideal candidate you will have the relevant tertiary qualifications and skills in the areas of project management and implementation including investigation, design, tendering and contract management.
Graduates, and those with lesser experience, will be considered for the positions with remuneration adjusted based on experience.
The role offers a variety of challenging functions, with a diverse mix of both field and office work.
Your key duties will include project management of building construction, roads, bridge and drainage and will generally require you to take the project from concept to completion with the majority of the design elements being completed by others either in-house or contracted out.
Key Selection Criteria: Degree in Civil engineering (desirable) or several years' experience in civil/municipal construction and maintenance work (5+ years).
High level experience in preparing specifications and managing contracts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including report writing).
Ability to achieve objectives within adopted timeframes and budget.
Ability to gain cooperation and assistance from stakeholders.
