We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager to join our Engineering and Planning team in Perth, WA on a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Team Lead Pipeline Projects, you will be responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of pipeline maintenance projects, such as scoping, estimating, package management, planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover and closeout.
Key Responsibilities Ensure the successful delivery of the project scope on time and within budget.
Regularly update project reports and forecasts to reflect progress, budget, timelines, risks, and scope changes, ensuring timely and accurate information for decision-making.
Ensure adherence to company frameworks, engineering, quality, and regulatory standards, while meeting customer expectations.
Foster collaborative and productive relationships with peers and customers.
Foster a continuous improvement mindset throughout all project activities.
Conduct site visits, audits, and general supervision of field activities (approx.
5 days per month).
Serve as the interface between APA commercial and various customers.
Your background Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management (preferred).
Proven expertise in project management, including contract negotiation, compliance, and management.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results through operational efficiency and commercial acumen, effectively implementing business strategy.
Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
Experience in delivering project management activities across a large portfolio of projects.
Skilled in developing constructive, mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
