Liberty Industrial is a leading provider of innovative demolition and remediation solutions to the industrial sector, known for our commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. As we embark on a major new project in the Northwest starting in early 2025, we are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our Perth-based team and take a key role in delivering this exciting project.
This is a career-defining opportunity to be part of an industry-leading initiative, where you'll lead the demolition scope of work for production, infrastructure, and facilities associated with the WAO Demolition Project. In addition to project delivery, you will have the opportunity to drive business development and contribute to identifying new project opportunities for Liberty Industrial.
Key responsibilities include: Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and direct project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Resource Optimization: Maximise project resources while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.Safety & Quality: Lead safety, quality, and environmental initiatives, fostering a positive culture across projects.Problem Solving: Identify challenges and develop strategies for effective solutions.Risk Management: Maintain and update risk registers, managing and mitigating project risks.Team Supervision: Oversee project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and achieving project goals.Stakeholder Communication: Engage with clients, unions, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.Training & Development: Provide mentorship and training for project staff to support their growth.HSEQ Compliance: Ensure safety, environmental, and risk assessments are conducted and adhered to.Qualifications & Experience 5-10 years of experience managing projects in the oil & gas construction or demolition industries.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proven track record of leadership in safety, environmental, quality, and commercial stewardship.Experience with Cost, Time, Resources (CTR) contracts is highly desirable.Previous experience working on large projects alongside multiple project managers is an advantage.Experience in environmentally sensitive environments is preferred.We deliver our projects with the highest regard to safety and innovation. The successful candidate must undergo full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening and Federal Police Check prior to employment.
