The Project Manager is responsible for generating and delivering a variety of project work on our customer sites and have full accountability and responsibility for managing and delivery of project works.
Here's a snapshot of your day; Identify and generate a short-medium and long-term pipeline of Project opportunities from within a set portfolio of global maintenance contracts Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor Work with developers, designers, and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s) and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome Manage, run, and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required.
Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns Identify, reduce, and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project(s) being led Ensure CBRE WHS and Quality practices and processes are fully embedded and compliant in each project Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end" including but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, direct procurement of sub-contractors by trade category, sub-contractor management and site manager duties as the Head or 'Principal' Contractor Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format Full accountability for the P&L on each project and ensuring that all financial objectives are met plus analyzing variances and initiate corrective actions.
Skills and experience you'll need to thrive in this role: Minimum of 5 years proven Project Management experience in commercial construction, fit-out or critical environment.
Proven experience of running a P&L Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team Recognized technical qualification in Building and Construction Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Site Management, Site Supervising, Engineering background preferred.
