For the part time position, the work pattern is negotiable; however, working the hours across a four-day week is preferable.About the City of NedlandsThe City of Nedlands is located 7km from the Perth CBD and includes a diverse range of features from the beautiful river foreshore of Dalkeith and Nedlands to the crisp white sands of Swanbourne beach.With a dedicated workforce of professional service providers, we are committed to ensuring the City of Nedlands is a vibrant, safe, and inclusive community with a high standard of local services and facilities.About the roleReporting to the Coordinator City Projects, the Project Managers are responsible for project managing the delivery of public infrastructure projects listed within the City's Capital Works Programme.The Project Manager position will:Provide guidance and technical advice on the management of public infrastructure works;Monitor the design, applicable financials, and construction of public infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with statutory standards and engineering requirements;Attend site inspections to monitor contractor performance;Engage consultants and contractors through the preparation of tender documentation.About youTo be successful in the role, you will be tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or similar, and/or have equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar role.You will have a thorough knowledge of civil engineering and public infrastructure principles and practices in addition to previous experience coordinating capital projects.The successful Project Manager candidate will also have:Significant experience working in Civil Engineering or public infrastructure project delivery;Experience in the supervision of contractors and contract administration;Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.What we offerThe Project Manager position offers a full-time annual salary range of $95,463 to $111,058 dependent on skills and experience plus superannuation.
