This Project Manager position will combine your developed Project Management skills with your background in industry consulting experience to work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality maritime design projects, with a focus on small to mid-scale maritime infrastructure, coastal or dredging projects and their influence on environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals. We are looking for a self-starting team member capable of undertaking project management and leadership roles within our portfolio of coastal and maritime projects and with the opportunity to manage significant projects within our programme. You will also have the opportunity to help contribute to business development and promotional activities. We have an active project portfolio with public and private sector clients including, Department of Transport, Southern Ports Authority, Pilbara Ports Authority and Rio Tinto. This opportunity would suit a Junior to Mid-Level Project Manager who is looking to: Make a positive impact on project delivery outcomes. Develop their project management skills. Mentor younger project engineers in their project management journey. Build upon existing and develop new client relationships to further the WA and Singapore maritime business. To be successful in your new role, you will display experience in and have the ability to: Project manage a range of diverse projects to scope and within time, cost and quality requirements involving independence in approach, and individual judgement and initiative. Be able to prepare, review and submit proposals / tenders. Perform peer reviews of various projects, from a cost, schedule and quality perspective. Share knowledge and act as mentor within your area of project management expertise. Adhere to, and actively promote, quality, safety and environmental procedures/standards. Select/identify areas of improvement. Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills: Essential: Bachelor's degree in either Maritime Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant area of study such as Marine, Coastal or Environmental Science. 5 years of relevant experience post-graduation with at least 2 years of experience in project management delivery. Demonstrable experience working in a consulting engineering environment. Demonstrable experience working within the ports, energy or resources sectors. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of relevant State and Federal Health and Safety Legislation. Right to work in Australia with no restrictions. Desirable: Post graduate degree (Honours, Masters, PhD) in relevant field.
