We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in civil construction or underground utility projects.
Our client specialises in underground utility solutions, serving major clients across Western Australia, including power, water, gas, and telecommunications sectors, as well as local governments and mining corporations.
The Role: Responsible for managing all aspects of single or multiple civil infrastructure/construction projects. Manage project teams and hold responsibility for overall project outcomes. Utilise a range of project management tools and methodologies daily with a high degree of competence. Apply project management knowledge and skills in a self-directed manner, with substantial depth in tools and methodologies. Use a range of software including project management specific programs and databases to analyse information Exercise judgment in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services, and techniques for oneself and others. Participate in the development of strategic initiatives. Maintain personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical project management operations. May be part of project manager teams involved in planning and evaluation for projects within larger programs or portfolios. Operate under the direction of the Construction Manager. Dimensions: 40% Technical / 40% People / 20% Scheduling Essential Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Project Management role Degree in Engineering or equivalent Strong leadership skills as well as financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills Sound knowledge and understanding of HSE principles Procurement and supplier management About Connect Resources
