We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join Newcastle Anglican.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects across Newcastle Anglican and all of its agencies.This is a Full Time 12-month contract and is ideal for someone who has managed a broad and varied portfolio of projects across a range of organisations.Why work for us?Our people are the heart of what we do here at Newcastle Anglican.
As a part of our team, you have access to the following great benefits:Salary Package a range of everyday living expenses (Mortgage, Rent and Bills), up to $611/fortnight.Career and development opportunities.Up to 40% off on school enrolment fees at any of our Newcastle Anglican schools.Flexible working options (including compressed week, RDO's & 9-day fortnights).14 weeks paid parental leave or 3 weeks paid partner leave.Give back to the community and the people we support.Access to Fitness Passport (over 800+ gyms).Free access to our corporate Employee Assistance Program.What are we looking for?Lead projects from early concept and scoping through to delivery and handover to the client.Coordinate stakeholders and lead project delivery outcomes including budget, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.Manage associated project documentation and governance artefacts as required.Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders including the leadership team, project board members, key stakeholders, and business users across the organisation.Develop a deep knowledge of the organisation and its functions to deliver the best results for the organisation.Identify potential project delays and offer alternatives ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Continually ensure stakeholder satisfaction through regular communication and engagement.Monitor and escalate project status risks that could impact deliverables.Other tasks as reasonably requested by Manager.About you:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or other relevant qualifications.Demonstrated experience delivering large transformational projects.Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and oral.Integrity and high work ethic.Team-focused and ability to work autonomously.Energy, drive, and a can-do attitude.Proven adherence to legislation, policies, and procedures.Who we are:Formerly known as the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Newcastle Anglican is a faith-based organisation serving the people of the Hunter and the Central Coast.We offer a leading Christian presence to our community through our parishes, four schools, Anglican Care, and Samaritans.Our vision is for people to flourish because of what we do, inspired by the way of Jesus.We provide a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and welcome all applications.
