to join the business. This position will be field based in and around Kent in the South East of England,
working between the hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Who are MJ Quinn MJ Quinn are an established national organisation, with contracts covering the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland. As the Project Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring targets (Operational & Commercial) are achieved throughout the lifecycle of the project. As the Project Manager you will focus on stakeholder relationships, commercials & overall performance of the project while at the same time providing a road map for future projects. Responsibilities of the role:
Ensuring that the work force is fully accredited in all Openreach, council and MJQ requirements, working in line with MJQ accredited training school. Carry out planning in accordance with the needs of your client, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles, and producing schedules and timelines for tasks. Lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organizations. Report regularly to the management team and the client. Deliver quality service ensuring that performance standards & contractual KPI's and SLAs are met. Chairing and attending meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring that all customer targets are met. Making sure that we maintain a strong fluidity of work. Compiling accurate reports of all work aspects. To work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn's values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities. Being pro-active to adapt any current processes and improving efficiencies of current way of working. Ensuring that all systems are kept up to date with accurate information (Depotnet/CRM). Making sure that all costs attributed against the project are accurate and captured fully. Maintaining a strong WIP position for the project. Building a strong relationship with the customer. Ensuring that all company policies are adhered to. Helping to develop the team to help progression within the business and to make sure that everyone is performing to the best of their abilities. Giving constant feedback or progress and issues to your team. Making sure the project is delivered in the most cost-effective way.
Experience:
A legal right to work in the UK. Previous experience of management in a similar role. Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines. The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure. Ability to manage organisation change whilst delivering business results. The ability to monitor and control budgets. A full clean UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. All applicants will be subject to a DBS check.
