DDR Australia operates in the Defence, Government, Mining and Energy sectors.
From design-and-construct and new builds, to refurbishment and infrastructure upgrades, the business has experienced substantial growth in the value, complexity, and number of projects since inception.
Joining the well-established WA team, you will deliver a range of projects within the Defence sector valued between $3-10 million.
Based out of the Balcatta office with a company vehicle or car allowance provided for site visits, coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and clients.
THE ROLE
Manage projects from initial setup through to completion Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program Involvement with tendering/estimation Create and modify ITP's and SWMS Raise RFI's and track responses
ABOUT YOU
Experience leading & completing multiple construction, refurbishment and remediation projects Experience with tier 2 clientele Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar Proven ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships Ability to self-manage own workload whilst ensuring project efficiency and a positive team environment Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines A natural leader who is willing to develop people and achieve delivery targets Police Clearance
