Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for a Customer Technologies project, within one of our favourite tech teams. This role will manage the delivery of capital projects, ensuring strategic direction and achieving value for money. You will handle risks and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.You will manage the project to ensure efficient delivery, aligning with corporate expectations. Responsibilities include reviewing and endorsing project business cases, managing financial and business performance, and ensuring project compliance with relevant guidelines and frameworks. You will support the recruitment of project team resources and supply information to the ITG master schedule.Engage with the organisations commercial team and other procurement process owners during the procurement process to ensure alignment with the client's Contract Management Guidelines. This involves participating in tender evaluations, recommending vendors/contractors, and overseeing their work to achieve targets for time, cost, and quality.Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans, manage approval gate activities, and support Portfolio Directors in monitoring and measuring delivery against project benefits. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and corporate policies, identify and manage risks, and stay updated with best practices to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.What's Needed?Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., commerce, project management, finance, engineering, technology) OR Project Management qualifications (MSP, PRINCE 2, PMBOK) or demonstrated advanced knowledge of quality project management principles and practices.Proven experience in managing, organising, and reporting functional activities to deliver organisational outcomes.Extensive project management experience in delivering projects within a large multi-disciplined commercial organisation or large, complex business transformation program.Experience in tendering, commercial review, contract award, and management.Substantial knowledge and experience in planning, designing, and delivering business or technology projects.Strong focus on digital transformation programs.Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conceptual, and analytical skills.We look forward to hearing how you will make an impact in a team that is centred around delivery and innovation.
