About the Opportunity
We are seeking an oil and gas industry professional with a strong background in the management and successful delivery of offshore engineering design and installation projects. You will be working on a variety of small to medium brownfields and greenfields offshore projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your key focus will be working closely with your clients, to understand their needs and to drive the implementation of cost effective and practical solutions.
This role will provide you the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in the planning and execution of projects, to safely deliver profitable projects, on time, within budget, meeting targets and exceeding the customer's expectations. In addition, your accountabilities will include:
Working autonomously to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Ensure 100% compliance with ICON's site HSE requirements.
Achievement of KPIs on delivery on scope, schedule, cost and quality.
Demonstrating dependability and ICON's capabilities in the execution of the work.
Consistently achieving high customer satisfaction.
Contribute to the Annual Rig Mod and Brownfields Business Plan.
Lead, manage and develop the project team.
Contribute to the development and improvement of operational/project management system and processes.
Actively contribute to the growth of the business by identifying opportunities to leverage networks and relationships to maximise new and repeat business.
Demonstrate innovative, continuous improvement approach with up-to-date market knowledge.
About You
You come with tertiary qualifications in the engineering field with at least 8+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Your experience spans across engineering, offshore operations, offshore drilling, project management and client management. Essential attributes you will bring to this position include:
You are well versed in detailed engineering design, offshore industry design codes, standards and specifications.
Proven capability of managing medium sized projects up to $3m in value, achieving project KPIs (i.e. schedule, cost, quality).
Demonstrated offshore site experience supervising personnel.
Ability to lead, influence, motivate and drive project teams.
You are an innovative, strategic thinker with high commercial acumen.
You have astute abilities in project risk profiling and the implementation of risk mitigating strategies.
Experienced in cost estimating and tender/proposal preparation with impressive strike rate in winning tender bids.
Strong experience in effective project monitoring and auditing, ensuring its successful delivery.
Strong management and leadership skills.
You have a high achievement record in gaining repeat business due to your reputation.
You are a collaborative team member, regardless of level of the organisation.
You are results focused, proactive in your approach.
You plan, you are measured in your execution, but you are flexible and agile at the same time.
