About the Role Base Location:Perth

Salary:£49,559 - £56,757 + car /car allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Real-Time Systems Delivery (RTSD) Team is responsible for the project delivery, design, installation, testing and commissioning of Industrial Control Systems, Operational Communications and SCADA field systems that SSEN use to operate our primary and secondary assets across multiple locations across the Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution (SHEPD) licensed area.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of Technical Services and Operational Technology projects. You will lead project teams, develop project plans, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality throughout the ED2 price control period.

Your key responsibilities will be as follows.

- Leading project teams to deliver the ED2 project portfolio to meet strategic needs and operational efficiency.

- Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets in conjunction with senior stakeholders and ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety.

- Monitoring, controlling and communicate project progress, taking corrective action where necessary to keep projects on track.

- Managing project budgets, including tracking costs and managing financial risks.

- Identifying and managing project risks, including developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

- Managing stakeholder relationships, including suppliers and contractors and providing leadership and guidance to project team members

- Meeting project stakeholders at site to kick of the project build stage.

What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Proven track record of successful project management, delivering against objectives and to budget, preferably with Project Management qualifications such as APM, PMQ or equivalent.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.

- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with the UK electrical utilities sector and its regulatory environment.

- A full driving licence is required along with flexibility to occasionally travel to various sites around Scotland.
