Due to growth, we have the opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Civil and Infrastructure team in Perth.
The Opportunity - About the Role Be part of the highly regarded Perth Civil and Infrastructure Project Management team, managing urban and major infrastructure projects across Perth. In this role, you will provide specialist Civil Project Management expertise throughout the project life cycle and be part of a team delivering unique and challenging projects. You will use your strong communication skills to navigate a broad stakeholder group to achieve business outcomes.
Your main responsibilities, will involve but will not be limited to: Provide civil project management expertise from project inception to completionEnsure projects are scoped, designed, approved and delivered Safely, to required Quality, on time and budgetPrepare and execute delivery strategies and employ specialist project management tools to deliver multi-staged projects and lead in infrastructureDrive operational improvement through the sharing of best practice across the businessProactive communication and reporting on delivery milestonesFacilitate, manage and drive efficiency through project cost plans in partnership with Development Managers, authorities, consultant and contractors to realise cost savingsLeading the procurement and delivery of civil, electrical and landscape construction in accordance with the project program.Assisting the development team with technical support and delivery inputsAchieve project construction milestones across multiple construction fronts in the State's project portfolioManage compliance to development obligations including environmental, cultural heritage and other matters of significanceAbout you: Coming from client-side, contractor, consultancy, or authorities with Civil, Electrical, Landscape or superintendency background, or similar construction delivery experience.You will have relevant Project Management experience with a strong understanding of civil construction works.A sound understanding and demonstrated experience in procurement and the contract administration of Australian Standard construction contracts or modified versions of.You will have great time-management skills and a go-getter attitude, ready to jump straight into the projects and help drive better outcomes.Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, curiosity, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.With effective verbal and written communication skills that engage all parties, you will act collaboratively and possess exceptional stakeholder management abilities building and maintaining strong relationshipsPreferably you will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field of Engineering (Civil, Environmental) or Construction Management with at least 5 years experienceThe Stockland Proposition We recognise the importance of flexibility and work life-quality and over 80% of our employees have informal or formal flexible work arrangements.
