City of Newcastle (CN) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and timely delivery of a variety of capital works projects to enhance existing assets and provide new infrastructure across the City. This is a full time, fixed term opportunity until the end of June 2025.

As a Project Manager, you will be managing engineering, civil, or environmental projects from inception through to completion with appropriate consideration to commercial, environmental and technical aspects, achieved through leadership, direction and control of both internal and external resources.

Utilising your proven stakeholder engagement capabilities, you'll achieve project objectives in a timely manner within agreed budgets, developing cost-effective solutions which demonstrate the principles of ecological sustainability. Fostering a team environment that encourages safety, innovation and continuous improvement, additional responsibilities include assessing project feasibility, preparing contract documentation, facilitating and liaising with contractors and consultants, and ensuring CN's WHS and environmental policies are adhered to.

Remuneration: $120,061.83 + 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week.
