About the company

An incredible opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and entrepreneurial Project Manager to join a team of high performing project delivery professionals based in Newcastle.

With clients in defence, health, education, aged care and not-for-profit sectors, they are working on a broad range of projects along the east coast of Australia.

With big plans for growth, they are seeking someone who is passionate about what they do, shares their interest in client engagement and is seeking ongoing training and career development opportunities.

About the role Project initiation include design management, development of cost plans and programmes.Develop procurement strategy, tender development and review, contract negotiation, preparation, and execution.Managing the head contractor, ensuring time, cost, and contractual obligations are met.Managing project programme, cost control, reporting and resolving any issues with contractors.Contract management, review, and approvals of claims and variations, EOT's, RFI's and progress inspections.Project finalisation and handover.About you

You will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Property or equivalent experience.Previous experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Contract Administrator, ideally working for clients in the Defence, Education or Health/Aged Care sectors.Experience working for a consultancy or contractor.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds.Strong attention to detail and a meticulous, well-organised nature.Drive, enthusiasm and dedication to delivering high quality results for your client.The benefits Competitive remuneration package based on previous experience that includes generous performance bonuses.Monthly team engagement days where the whole business embarks on a team building exercise.Engaging business owner who genuinely engages with staff.Fantastic project diversity giving you the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients.Flexibility to work from home and site throughout the week.How to apply
