The project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects, from the initial ideation through to completion. They coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with positive outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.
Ideally, you're someone who.. is an experienced project manager with high-level leadership, time management and people skills who engages not only our people but creates positive and long-lasting relationships with our business partners and clients. You will approach challenges with an open mind and will create innovative solutions to problems that create positive outcomes.

Where you'll be working Based at our head office in Newcastle and visiting our many projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Hours/days Ordinarily, you will work office hours at our head office, Monday to Friday, with occasional visits to the site adhering to site operation times.
Main duties and responsibilities Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, standards, and procedures.
Select and mentor key project team members.Take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, including the development and management of a project schedule with relevant milestones, deliverables, and dependencies as outlined in the contract.Provide commercial guidance to ensure all legal, commercial, and financial requirements of contracted projects are met or exceeded.Deliver timely reports on project performance against the schedule to management and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all contractual reporting, invoicing, and management of cost and time variations, in accordance with contract conditions.Collaborate closely with company directors on general business development initiatives.Experience and qualifications Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably in solar construction.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Understanding of fabrication preferred but not essential.Proficiency in project management software and tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft projects).A degree or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.Who we are At Bam Bam Pile Driving, we are not just experts in the field of small to large-scale solar farms, but we are also deeply committed to the people who make our work possible: our team, our clients, and our community.
