This merit list/pool may be used to fill other vacancies in Paddington.The RoleThe Australian Army Battle Lab is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the lifecycle of projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and contribute effectively to the land force's operational capability. As the Deputy Director Strategy and Projects, you will be required to operate within the guidelines of the Battle Lab Operations Order to administer, lead and manage the Army Battle Lab Headquarters on behalf of the Commander Army Battle Lab and act as the deputy to administratively support Army Battle Lab operations in the absence of the Commander. You will be required to analyse current and future operational requirements to inform the development of projects that address capability gaps or enhance existing capabilities. To be successful in this role you will be required to effectively manage personnel, financial, and material resources to optimize project outcomes while adhering to Defence procurement policies and guidelines. You will require the ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize adverse impacts on project delivery and overall mission success.This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
