The Chief Operations Officer designs and constructs buildings, infrastructure, parks, streetscapes and public domains and with a works program up to $200m, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for: developing and delivering a range of projects by using your knowledge of the Building and Construction Industry. liaising with governing authorities and/or utility providers coordinating design, managing contractors, providing technical direction and ensuring projects are delivered within pre-determined limits of time, cost and quality collaborating and managing client and project needs using effective interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful, you will have: tertiary professional qualifications, at degree level, in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Building, Architecture, Landscape, Civil/Structural/Services Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience including Contract Administration (with demonstrated Project Management capabilities). proven knowledge and experience in Project Management including the planning and delivery of capital works projects in the public and/or private sectors demonstrated ability to deliver projects to meet expected time, cost, quality, safety, environmental and sustainability targets strong communication and experience in achieving good relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants and contractors knowledge and proven experience to manage project risks, finances, project programming and contract administration This is a targeted Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander position.
