We aim for our staff to have a good work-life balance and are renowned for the long-term tenure of our employees.About the roleReporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of projects within scope, designated timeframes and budget ensuring the project remains on target by maintaining an accurate construction program.Key Responsibilities
Work in accordance with company WHS, Environmental and Quality Policy and and promote a safe working environment.
Ensuring the clients specific requirements are defined, understood and met. Monitoring the performance of all project components, and authorise corrective action where necessary Managing the construction resources for all scheduled construction activities and the delivery of programs across
allocated sites to achieve the most efficient use of resources. Reviewing incident reports, ensuring all action has been taken to prevent reoccurrence. Checking site diary and following through on corrective action. Accompany SafeWork inspectors and union officials on site visits and to be an observer Schedule proposed construction activities that achieve the most productive use of materials and construction
resources. Establish close working relationships with all stakeholders Attending sub-contractor and design meetings.
Skills & experience
Prior experience in project work, administering of construction contracts within the construction industry. Read, interpreted project drawings/ specifications to ensure adequate construction methodology, equipment and
resources for planned works Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills Customer focused mindset High attention to detail Manage project cost to actual
