We are seeking an experienced & dedicated Project Manager to join our Transformation and Technology Department on a full-time basis on a fixed-term contract for one year.
You will be responsible for delivering various technology initiatives at Council including managing day-to-day project activities, vendor management, and tracking and reporting progress in alignment with existing governance arrangements.
About the RoleReporting to the Program Manager - Transformation, your responsibilities will include:
Delivery of one or more projects within our Core and ERP Systems replacement programEstablish appropriate delivery process enabling effective tracking and management of project-related activitiesDrive planning activities for ongoing and new projects to produce a comprehensive plan capturing critical milestones and dependenciesTimely and accurate tracking and reporting of progress, risks, issues, and other delivery metrics in various governance forums as per established frameworksScope, Resource, Task, Dependencies, Risk, and Issue Management for the projectActive coordination with various teams, resources, stakeholders and vendors to drive completion of the activities and resolution of the blockers and issuesVendor management, business engagement, and stakeholder managementAbout youAs an integral part of the Council's team you'll bring a wealth of past experiences including:
Demonstrated experience in managing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale ERP implementation projects in a complex environmentStrong experience in embedding Agile way of working in a Hybrid modelStrong experience in vendor management and driving vendor delivery team to deliver agreed outcomes on time with qualitySignificant experience in maintaining and tracking metrics, issues and risks and reporting status in various governance forumsDemonstrated experience in coordinating and liaising with business SMEs and stakeholders at various levels to ensure their active participation through the lifecycle of the project and get their buy-in in key business decisions during this significant business change programStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsEmployment requirements Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record CheckHow to applyPlease submit your application online via the 'Apply' button by 11:59 pm 6th January 2025.
