What does the job look like?
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing IT projects that support Linfox's Transport, Warehouse and Corporate Services domains.
This includes overseeing project plans, budgets, risks, and issues, while ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
The role involves managing cross-functional teams, using Linfox's project methodologies, and driving projects through their full lifecycle, from initiation to deployment.
Other duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead project teams, collaborating with technology, customer, and vendor stakeholders.
Prepare and manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and issues.
Drive cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Follow the Linfox Project Methodology and governance, using FoxPro (Microsoft Project Online).
Monitor and control project phases to stay on track with the approved schedule.
Take ownership of full project life cycles, ensuring successful delivery of major or multiple minor initiatives simultaneously.
Facilitate Steering Committees, ensuring all necessary documentation and reporting are completed.
Report on project success criteria, metrics, testing, and deployment activities.
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Set and manage project expectations, delegating and managing deliverables across team members and stakeholders.
Deliver regular project status reports and lead Steering Committees to ensure stakeholders are informed and project governance is followed.

You will have previous experience managing projects in a complex environment, ideally within technology or cross-functional teams.
You will apply your leadership skills to drive successful project delivery, effectively managing risks, budgets, and schedules.
With a keen attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset, you will engage stakeholders, uncover challenges, and deliver high-quality outcomes while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate can demonstrate: Excellent knowledge in the use of tools such as: MS Project Online, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SharePoint The ability to be self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology functions The ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills Team-building skills with technical and non-technical team members The ability to be flexible with a proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
