About the role:With strong technical skillsWho can apply a system lensWho builds relationships and delivers quality outcomes in a timely manner?With the significant number of health infrastructure projects in development or delivery, a strong client-side interface to represent client requirements and interests is required. The department is establishing this function to ensure that as projects evolve, they remain focused on delivering benefits to the health system as originally intended in line with clinical and broader health system priorities identified.
As the Project Manager, Client Office you will be responsible for activities to support project development, design, delivery and integration in collaboration with stakeholders.
The Project Manager will represent the department or client views in various forums and discussions. An understanding of health infrastructure or health service delivery would be highly beneficial to the role. Strong and engaging interpersonal and stakeholder management skills will be key to success in the role, as will experience in establishing and managing change control processes for major projects.

How you'll make a difference:Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:Knowledge and SkillsTechnical Skills and Specific Knowledge Requirements: Proven experience with developing and or managing the development of client briefs and change control processes for infrastructure projects.
An understanding of health infrastructure projects or health service delivery requirements would be highly regarded.

Qualifications / Specialist ExpertiseQualifications: Qualifications related to capital planning (e.g., architecture, engineering), project management or clinical planning would be highly regarded.
A relevant postgraduate qualification would be well regarded.
