A merit list or pool may be used for up to 18 months.This merit list or pool may be used to fill other vacancies in Canberra, Melbourne, Brindabella Business Park.The key duties of the position include:The RoleThe Decision Support Directorate within the Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Group is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Project Manager role to join the GWEO Group Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team to facilitate and enhance the functions across the Directorate.This role involves responsibility for a number of highly complex Project Capabilities as well as considerable stakeholder engagement across GWEO Group and relevant stakeholders including Defence ERP Program, Capability Sustainment & Acquisition Group (CASG), and Defence Digital Group (DDG). As part of the GWEO ERP Team, you will work closely and in support of Director Decision Support towards continuous improvement, reform, and decision-making for the Defence ERP Program and impacts for GWEO Group.This position will be subject to an additional 10% Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This will be in addition to your agreed substantive salary on commencement. Please refer to the Defence Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020 for more information on BDCPs.About our TeamThe GWEO ERP Team within the Decision Support Directorate works closely with Defence ERP Program and CASG for the deliverance of the ERP S4/HANA solution. The GWEO ERP Team has harnessed methodology, approaches, communication materials, and ad hoc subject matter expertise of the relevant stakeholders to achieve results.The Decision Support Directorate provides support to GWEO Group in transition that will eliminate hundreds of complicated and unnecessary structures, processes, systems, and tools and replace them with an ERP solution which will provide a single, trusted source of accurate near real-time information.
