We have an exciting new Project Manager role available in our Technology team, supporting our newly created Healthcare centers, and our Optical and Hearing stores.
You can learn more about our Healthcare centers here: Healthcare Centres – powered by Bupa The opportunity: This role will partner closely with leaders across our Optical and Hearing business, and technology teams to deliver high quality project management services to drive strategic outcomes for our customers.
We have a variety of exciting projects coming up, including software implementation, infrastructure enhancements, and innovative AI solutions.
These projects are likely to be both complex and cross functional in nature and encompass both business and technical systems change.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: 5+ years Project Management experience managing medium to large projects (circa $1M - $3M) with high levels of complexity and multiple dependencies.
Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems/Information Technology or equivalent.
Formal project management qualifications from either AIPM or PMI (either already obtained or working towards).
This is a permanent role, that can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
We offer hybrid work arrangements, so when you're not on the road visiting our Optical and Hearing stores, you'll have the flexibility to work from home.
How will I help?
You will add value by: Engaging business leaders and developing effective stakeholder relationships to understand and agree on the business and customer needs and facilitate successful project outcomes that meet those needs.
Delivering the agreed project scope within required timeframe, cost & quality constraints.
Where the Project is not yet underway, working closely with the Sponsor and/or Business Initiative Owner to initiate the project and get it 'up and running'.
Ensuring adequate business analysis is done to establish the scope and mandatory requirements.
Establishing and monitoring appropriate project governance for each stream within the project(s), and ensuring alignment with the Portfolio governance and reporting framework.
Mentoring and leading Technology Leads, Project Manager Associates, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts seconded to the program, as required.
Clearly and regularly communicating with key stakeholders and ensuring the project Sponsor is comfortable and confident that the project is on track and achieving success.
Ensuring that adequate risk & issue management protocols are maintained across the entire Project.
Developing strong trusted relationships with Sponsors, Workstream Leaders, Initiative Owners, Project Managers, business stakeholders and Technology teams and seeking regular feedback.
