Local Project Assignment based in Melbourne

CB&I are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our East Coast Projects. Project assignments may range in scope from managing multiple small (Up to US$20MM) contracts or a single medium size (Up to US$100MM) project. This Project Manager will begin by leading a tank terminal construction Project located in Melbourne, Victoria. You will be a strong collaborator and will be responsible for all matters pertaining to the execution of the project assigned to you in accordance with the contract terms and all Company HSSE, Quality, Execution and Financial goals. Your Role Responsibilities but not limited to:

Primary functions include complying with Company business & legal policies, maintaining client relationships, protecting the Company from unnecessary risks, managing resources for the project, providing leadership, and serving as a focal point for client communication Project forecasting as well as executing and managing Lessons Learned program at the project level, preparation of internal and external project reports Complete understanding of the Contract, the "as-sold" scope of work, and contract commercial terms Robust management of change to mitigate risk and leverage commercial advantage Representing the Company and the project at all meetings Participation in the Commercial and Business Development process by providing operational input and during the pre-contract effort

Able to travel to project locations for client/customer meetings and site assessments Enthusiastically seeks and accepts tasks and projects in rotations that allow for maximum experience and growth Regularly introspect, seek feedback and adapt behaviors for ongoing personal development Knowledge of CB&I products and markets Proactively identifies and solves the complex problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven negotiating ability with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills Demonstrated business partnering skills with the ability to influence the organization A mature business and technical acumen coupled with a drive to achieve results Exceptional communication and presentation skill, both written and verbal Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level Proactively embraces and promotes the company's values and culture, including diversity & inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment Ability to manage teams in a well organised manner while exercising highly developed written and oral communication skills

Experience and Qualifications:

Professional degree (Engineering or BS Preferred) Broad technical knowledge of construction methods and equipment, engineering processes, and fabrication capabilities Familiarity with estimating, supply chain, project controls, and contract commercial management Knowledge of Commercial Contracting and Negotiation strategies Familiarity with the Oil and Gas, Energy and Construction Industry preferred
