Project Manager

Throughout 2024, OCU Group has been experiencing a sustained period of growth and expansion within the water and wastewater sector. Due to this and our continued work winning success, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in the NorthWest.
You will be working closely with the Client and OCU Delivery teams and other stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities Working with estimating teams on tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business. Developing and presenting project proposals. Meeting with clients to find out their requirements. Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales. Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients. Managing construction schedules and budgets. Dealing with any unexpected costs. Attending site meetings to monitor progress. Acting as the main point of contact for clients and site on project. Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards. Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client's own representatives. Overseeing final accounts at the end of a project. Working on-site and in an office. Skills and Experience Degree or HND qualified in Construction or Project Management. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 / FIDIC contracts desirable. An understanding of the construction industry. An understanding of legal documentation. IT knowledge. Strong leadership skills. The ability to use your initiative. Good verbal communication skills. Working within the Water Industry. Driving License: Essential.
