Project Manager

Company Mcelligotts has been operating in the remedial construction and protective coatings industry for over 70 years. With high volumes of projects all over Australia we are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team in Launceston Tasmania.  We have recently been awarded more jobs in the mining and water infrastructure sectors across the state. 
Responsibilities Preparation and management of project budgets, cost control, contracts and scheduling.Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are being implemented.Planning and leading the overall execution of all project functions.Ensuring project QA is aligned with statutory and client requirements.Fostering and managing client relationships.Management of work crews and supervision to ensure project goals are achieved.Skills required Proven project management experience preferably in the protective coatings industry/construction. Experience working on the following projects/sectors is highly desirable: Steel and concrete remediation, Petrochemical ,Mining ,Energy ,Rail ,Bridges ,Refineries and Water Infrastructure.Proven ability to be strategic and translate how to plan and execute projects.  Previous experience on cost estimating and managing budgets.Be decisive and able to work well under pressure with great communication skills.
