We're on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to play an integral role in overseeing Civil Construction projects in the Gold Coast region.
You will have the opportunity to take the lead on your projects, with strong support from our Senior Leaders and experienced team members.You'll be coordinating multiple projects across Infrastructure, Subdivisions, Community Projects, and Roadworks.About youYou will demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills in order to deliver projects to agreed outcomes, with a solid understanding and experience of civil construction and subdivision works.Key responsibilities will be: Oversee project planning, programming tasks, and ensure project compliance.Accountable for ensuring project compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations, and standards.Responsible for monthly assessments and forecasts of project's financial performance.Manage and maintain client relationships.Responsible for the coordination and performance of employees, subcontractors, procurement, and necessary equipment.Coaching, mentoring and training of relevant staff and addressing and resolving any performance issues.About youBachelor of Engineering (Civil) - desirable but not essentialMinimum 5 years' experience in Civil Construction, previous experience in delivering subdivision projects will be highly regarded.Strong skills in managing client relationships.Proven ability to build positive relationships with subcontractors.Exceptional people management abilities.What's in it for you?Local Work | Enjoy the benefit of returning home each night, giving you more quality time with your family.Job Stability | Leading civil contractor with ongoing pipeline of works that are shaping cities and communities.Career Progression | Access to people and leaders to support and guide you through your career.Supportive Environment | Work with skilled Supervisors who appreciate and acknowledge your efforts.Wellness Programs | Regular programs offering Wellness and Awareness initiatives co-designed amongst the Shadforth Teams.Diversity & Inclusion | Committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.Company supplied vehicle.About UsShadforth are one of Queensland's largest family-owned civil construction companies originating on the Sunshine Coast over 50 years ago.
