The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial client consultation through design, production, and installation.This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Coordination:Interpret detailed construction project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Coordinate with builders, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.Manage all aspects of project execution, from the design, fabrication, and powder coating to installation and handover.Lead and manage a team of designers, fabricators, installers, and labourers, providing clear direction and support throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure each team member is fully engaged and understands their roles and responsibilities.Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure the successful delivery of projects.Client Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.Address any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.Manage client expectations regarding project scope, timeline, and budget.Ensure any variations are agreed in writing and charged for accordingly.Quality Control and Compliance:Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.Identify and mitigate any risks or potential issues that may impact project delivery.Budget and Cost Management:Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled.Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure the best possible terms.Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed budget and timelines.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, variations/change orders, and progress reports.Provide regular project status reports to senior management.Ensure all project documentation is complete and properly archived upon project completion.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction, Aluminium Fabrication, Glazing, or Windows and Doors (Glazing) industry.Strong knowledge of aluminium and glass balustrade systems, including design, fabrication, and installation processes.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Proficiency in project management software.Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a project manager?How many years' experience do you have with project planning and scheduling?How many years of people management experience do you have?How many years' experience do you have in the construction industry?Do you hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)?
