About the Roles We are seeking aProject Managerfor local industrial site works within the Gladstone region.
This is a local role , no FIFO/ DIDO offered.
As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to develop your management skills, collaborate and build relationships with clients, manage financial systems, and contribute to the growth of a long-standing local business.
Skills & Experience 3 years within the construction industry as a Project Manager / Operations Manager/ SuperintendentEnsure clear communication with clients to understand and meet their needs, fostering client confidence and generating repeat businessAble to demonstrate the ability to forward plan, coordinate and manage industrial projects, Project scheduling and budget management.Identify project-specific risks and implement mitigation plans, while continuously monitoring safety performance and striving for improvement.Development of daily/weekly/monthly Management & Client reportsOverseeing contract management, variations, and claimsManage Incident investigations and reportingProficient time management and organisational skillsProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS projectsAbility to meet fitness for work requirements and medical checks for site access.Foster a continual improvement culture towards Safety, Quality, integrity, and Youngs performance standards.Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams, while actively seeking opportunities for business improvement and professional growth.Responsibilities: The Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of projects & hand over of project to Client
Develop project execution plansMaintain a project budgetProvide project reporting and end of month claim documentationConsult with Management, Clients, and SubcontractorsMentoring of project staff & team membersEffectively resolve conflict & manage a team efficientlyCoordinate employees, subcontractors and machineryBuild and maintain Client relationshipsEnsure all Client requirements and expectations of Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget are metManage compliance in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.Coordinate within project teams to arrange employees, sub-contractors, materials and machinerySupport the organisation by providing strategic decision making in daily operationsWhat you will bring Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, project management or relevant trades qualifications Or time in a role same or similarExcellent working knowledge of project management principles and project control applications.Strong Financial, commercial and system acumen.Understanding of industry suites of building contracts and building contract laws.Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.More than anything, you will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes Youngs clients.
