Civelite is a dynamic commercial civil construction company that has successfully completed a majority of projects in the Geelong region since its establishment in late 2017, we are very proud of our presence in Geelong as well as extremely proud of the team and company that we are recognised for as we strive every day to better our flaws and manage our strengths.The Role:This role is a full-time opportunity where you will be responsible for managing alongside senior management a project's programming, safety coordination, subcontractor management and supervision of all technical aspects of the project. As a Civil Project Manager your primary focus will be managing and leading the delivery of civil projects. We have a vast range of projects currently underway with projected growth in the coming few months, we are now seeking someone to join our project teams.Responsibilities will include:Responsible and accountable for the effective programming and construction methodologies of all site works.Responsible for project compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards.Responsible and accountable for the coordination of employees, subcontractors, procurement, plant and equipment required.Support the project team through projectactivitiesand any changes to the project scope.Responsible for monthly assessments and forecasts of project's financial performance.Ensure that plant, equipment, staff, and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions.Be outcome focused with problem solving abilities and exceptional communication skills.Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with clients, consultants and contractors and suppliers and effectively manage their performance on projects.Review and evaluate project programs to ensure the project is being delivered on time and to budget.Monthly reportingThe ideal candidateYou will be an experienced Project Manager with experience delivering a range of civil projects. To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar qualificationsConstruction White Card.Minimum of 4 years' construction experience, working on projects ranging from $5M - $10MPrevious experience in a Project Manager roleHighly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts,specifications, Australian standards.Ability to deliver projects and manage stakeholders autonomously.Be looking to better themselves through working collaboratively with project team to achieve success both personally as well as for the business.
