Store Development and Maintenance Manager - Role OverviewAs a Project Manager at Bean Squeeze, you will drive the planning and execution of new store builds and renovations, ensuring that all projects align with our 'Leave Happier' philosophy.
Working closely with external project managers and internal teams, you will oversee timelines, budgets, and project milestones to deliver high-quality spaces for customers and staff.
This is a full-time role based in Grovedale, Geelong.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Construction ResponsibilitiesConduct site inspections and assess surroundings to identify environmental features and constraints.Confirm project directives and specific requirements for Bean Squeeze.Review project background information and collect proposals from relevant consultants, including architects, planners, and traffic specialists.Coordinate preliminary architectural plans and documentation with the project architect.Facilitate pre-planning meetings with the local council.Engage and brief town planners and other consultants for pre-construction reports.Liaise with the Bean Squeeze team to ensure all project requirements are accurately captured.Review required services and seek preliminary advice from servicing authorities.Review preliminary planning and traffic advice.Communicate with the site landlord for necessary details.Collate and review assessment findings; meet with stakeholders to discuss next steps.Construction ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Bean Squeeze stakeholders and architects to assist in the concept development of new projects.Liaise with architects to prepare, review, and finalise construction drawings, ensuring they meet the operational requirements of Bean Squeeze.Engage engineers and other relevant consultants as needed for the project.Organise building permits for the new drive-thru coffee shop.Compile tender documentation and manage the tendering process.Select and engage the preferred builder.Prepare budgets and timelines for project execution.Coordinate the commencement of appointed builders on-site.Attend site as needed, participate in all site meetings, monitor construction progress, and resolve any issues that arise.Ensure project timelines are met, manage variations, and oversee P.C.
items.Assess and certify builders' progress claims for client payments.Supervise all service authorities to confirm the correct provision and connection of utilities, including water, stormwater, sewer, power, and communications.
