High priority projects include the delivery of one of the biggest ship lifts in Northern Australia, and building a transformative tourism marine infrastructure at Gove Port in East Arnhem Land and state-of-the-art marine facilities at Mandurah, near Darwin.As Project Manager, you will provide high-level specialist advice to management, clients and other Project Manager, as well as supervising, and coordinating work delegated to other Technical Officers. Your key responsibilities will include managing the development and delivery of assigned Capital Works, Minor New Works, Repairs and Maintenance projects to deliver a range of projects determined by the Darwin Harbour Strategy 2020-2025 (nt.gov.au).In addition, you will undertake site and asset inspections, prepare project proposals and technical reports, and provide supervision to ensure that workmanship and materials comply with procurement contracts.Ideally, you will be a highly experienced civil and/or marine construction project management and site supervisor with demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of Capital Works, Minor New Works and Repairs and Maintenance. You will have high-level written and oral communications skills, and the ability to prepare design, procurement and project management documentation.Experience in Aboriginal Participating reporting and qualifications in Civil Construction Management and/or Government Contract Management would be desirable.In return, you'll receive a competitive remuneration package, inclusive of 11% superannuation, 6 weeks' recreational and 3 weeks' personal leave, up to 17.5% annual leave allowance and additional paid leave to cover the Christmas – New Years' Day shut-down.
