Develop your experience in Project Management and lead modular Building construction projects in Darwin Your new company Our client, a long-standing Building company specialised in Commercial and Residential modular construction, is recruiting a Project Manager to join their team in Darwin and manage the delivery of multiple projects. Your new role You will be responsible for driving and coordinating the delivery of projects to ensure completion in accordance with the Client's requirements, within time and budget. You will be the point of contact for the client and project stakeholders and represent the company in all dealings including the delivery of construction works. The role is a permanent full-time position based in Darwin. Your key responsibilities will be: Manage project scopes and priorities to ensure effective allocation of resources, and delivery on time and to budget whilst achieving project objectives. Planning, forecasting and management of change of all allocated projects including variations in time, cost, scope, etc. Monitor project progress to ensure quality and profitability requirements are met and projects are delivered in accordance with the company's processes and safety standards. Produce monthly reporting on projects including on cost, schedule, and risk status. Produce and maintain MS Project programmes. Mentoring of project team members to foster a high-performing team environment, including overseeing the training of apprentices in the yard. Liaise with project stakeholders and build professional relationships within the industry. Identify opportunities to engage with existing and new contractors. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have: Holding a valid Northern Territory Builder's License (essential). Significant experience in managing Building construction projects (Residential and/or Commercial), as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager or Project Manager. Demonstrated experience in reading construction drawings and creating work schedules. Ability to interpret contractual documents and requirements. Competency in the use of MS programs, including Excel and MS Project. Excellent planning, organisational, time management and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Availability to travel to remote building sites to ensure quality control, when required.
