About your new Role   This newly created role will oversee all projects of strategic importance to Volkswagen Group Australia.
By applying robust project management fundamentals, you will ensure that governance protocols are established to support the on time achievement of project milestones and key deliverables.
Projects may either be established and underway, or newly formed to cater to the shifting conditions of the market, customer needs and strategic priorities of Volkswagen Group Australia.
Your main responsibilities will include:    Establish key deliverables required to achieve the strategic priorities for Volkswagen Group Australia Develop and maintain master project timelines for key strategic projects Work with key business units to establish project teams to achieve project deliverables Support project teams and leads to identify sub project deliverables and establish associated timelines Develop robust framework and protocols to govern the key strategic projects for VGA Chair meetings in line with the governance framework Ensure that minutes and action items are recorded and routinely tracked to support milestone achievement Development of standardised reporting templates to track the progress of strategic projects Act as the key point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders for all project related matters Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders regarding the status of projects Identify gaps (deliverables, milestones, achievements) and assist project sponsors and leads to develop countermeasures as required Promptly report any deviations or risks to the project plan to senior management Create presentations and briefing documents to obtain approval at key project milestones (local and global board of management) Work with business units, project leads and Finance to establish required budgets to support project deliverables Monitor and regularly report budget status to key stakeholders Establish new projects as and when required to meet the shifting conditions of the market, customer needs and priorities of Volkswagen Group Australia.
About you   To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:   10+ years industry experience (automotive market preferred but not essential) Demonstrated knowledge of project management on large and complex projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills and problem-solving skills Experience developing and governing corporate strategies Agile project management skills Strong attention to detail Our Benefits, Rewards and Recognition include:   A culture of continuous learning, growth and development.
