Long-term Opportunity Green Light is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to support satellite programs and projects. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and contract negotiation. This role requires expertise in managing complex projects, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving mission success within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution:Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of satellite programs and projects.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of objectives.Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with requirements.Communicate effectively with senior management and remote teams.Support pre-sales and bid capture activities for industry proposals and solutions.Reporting & Compliance:Prepare project reports and presentations for Optus Satellite and Space leadership.Ensure adherence to policies, procurement guidelines, and project management best practices.Skills & Experience Required:Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Highly motivated, mission-driven, and team-oriented.Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with local senior management and remote personnel.Experience and training in capability lifecycle management.Relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management.Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable.Experience in policy analysis and compliance services is advantageous.Green Light is one of Australia's most successful and fastest growing IT services businesses.
