The successful Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for delivering multiple complex infrastructure ICT projects within a large modernisation program of work. The successful Infrastructure Project Manager will secure an initial 3 month contract with extension options with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: Delivering project strategy and meeting the relevant internal policies and guidelines of the department.Managing one or more projects within the departments Modernisation Program.Assigning responsibilities across the team and manage priorities and governance requirements.Coaching and mentoring team members where required.The successful Infrastructure Project Manager will have experience in the following: Demonstrable experience leading multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex ICT Infrastructure projects in areas such as data centre upgrades, network equipment refreshes, operating system refreshes or cloud migrations.Demonstrable experience establishing, leading and maintaining a high performing team and building a collaborative culture.Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder expectations and priorities to control scope, secure project resourcing from internal parties and vendors to deliver project outcomes within scope, schedule, budget and quality constraints.Have excellent communication and negotiation skillsThis is a great opportunity to work within a leading Federal Government Department to join an established digital governance team.
