Our ideal candidate will have:
Previous Local Government experienceAPI / Business Integration knowledgePrevious experience in delivering Cloud-based solutionsPrevious experience in implementing ICT infrastructure projectsStrong contract negotiations skills and ideally experience in Queensland Information Technology Contracts (QITC)Strong Office 365 knowledge (SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Project, Outlook etc)Ability to manage multiple projects at one timeStrong communication and change management skillsBe a hands-on project manager - e.g., assist in testing, administration work etc.This will be a part time position of 3 days per week for a 3-month period with the option to extend for a further 3 months.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the ICT Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of various projects which may include but not limited to.
· Digital Experience Monitoring - this project will involve the continuation implementing a solution to better monitor the availability, performance, and quality of experiences internally when using applications.
· SCADA Firewall Upgrade - This will be to continue upgrading Councils current Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Network to better protect the Industrial Control Systems networks.
Information Classification - As an outcome of the Crowe Audit completed in July 2021 and ICT's Security Program, it was identified for the need for an Information Classification Policy, scheme and guidelines which currently doesn't exist within WDRC. This phase will focus on implementing classifications identified within Phase 1 and Phase 2.Other projects as directed As the Project Manager your responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
· Complete all required project documentation which includes, Project Initiation Document (PID), Project Timeline reports, Project Plans, Budget Management, Communication Plans, Change Management, Resource Management, Test Plans, Risk, and Issue Logs etc.
· Engage, facilitate, and work with Stakeholder and Subject Matter Experts to understand all business requirements and assist in specifying fit for purpose solutions.
· Provide project status updates to the ICT Governance Committee as required
· Ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time and within the approved budgets
· Ensure regular Project meetings are conducted with the project teams
· Ensure major risks are raised to the Project Board that will have an impact on the organisation
· Follow Council's Procurement Policy
· Follow WH&S policies and procedures.
