Role Summary Our team specialises in managing significant engineering projects, and locally delivering the global expertise of AtkinsRéalis. We are looking for someone who is a hard working team player, who possesses great attention to detail, is reliable, proactive and shows initiative whilst able to keep cool under pressure when working to often demanding deadlines. This role is to join our Project Delivery team, based in either Brisbane or Sydney.

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the Defence, Transportation & Water markets, with a particular focus on the Renewable Energy space.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead and manage complex projects, liaising with international design teamsManage and build lasting relationships with clientsCollaborate with client teams to agree on strategies that benefit their project and AtkinsRéalisCommunicate client needs to global design teams to ensure they are embedded into design deliveryLead the successful delivery of the project to agreed targets, e.g. programme, budget and qualityIdentify and manage any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk to AtkinsRéalisProtect the commercial interest of AtkinsRéalis, including timely and accurate invoicing, comparing revenue with predicted costs, identifying risk allowances, margin and provisions, Earned Value reportingWork with the design management team, and discipline leads to coordinate multiple design packages across disciplines.Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities Chartered Engineer or equivalent with experience managing design packages on large infrastructure projects, or overall projects on small / medium infrastructure projectsMarket sector experience in Water Infrastructure, Pumped Hydro or HV Transmission projects is strongly consideredExperience delivering with D&C, EPC, and/or Alliance delivery models is beneficialUnderstand and have experience in deploying various forms of construction contractsExperience of managing design projects to time, cost and quality objectives and familiar with programming and earned value techniquesA supportive and encouraging approach to mentoring less experienced members of the teamAbility to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with clients.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION We're not all the same and that's our greatest strength and we believe that 'Different Makes a Difference.'
