Strategically important to our future growth and impact, we are looking for talented Project Managers to join our business. We are after people who are confident in engaging with and leading multi-disciplinary teams, strive to achieve successful outcomes on major projects, and who can build relationships not only internally but also within the industry.
The successful candidates will be excellent communicators with a positive, 'take-the-initiative' attitude, and be able to work with and influence a range of senior-level stakeholders and leaders both internally and externally.
Transport Our Transport and Infrastructure team leverages a collaborative approach, the latest technology and a culture of innovation across the planning, design, and management phases to deliver sustainable connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.
What you'll do: You will be taking a leading role within our QLD Rail team and will be providing strong Project Management and oversight to projects within the local team.
You will strive to offer best practice consulting services to clients throughout QLD and beyond, and relish opportunities to lead and collaborate on international projects.
Your passion and technical expertise will be deployed across a number of diverse projects, exposing you to a variety of industries, such as transport, ports, mining, renewable energy, property and buildings, and government sectors to further continue the growth of an already successful local geotechnical capability.
You will also be tasked with mentoring and the development of more junior engineers, ensuring that we are cultivating and supporting our fantastic Engineers of tomorrow.
About you: Have proven junior to mid-level experience in the delivery of Rail projects on either delivery or client-side roles (or both).Be a qualified Engineer or equivalent.Have a proven ability to develop and expand client networks, and engage and influence stakeholders at a senior level.Hold strong communication skills - both verbal and written, including strong report writing skills.Demonstrated ability to build relationships internally and within the industry.Be capable and willing to mentor junior personnel and develop internal capability.Hold a sound understanding of commercial and generally project management principles.In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes: Natural connector.Problem solver with a powerful team spirit.Open.Curious.Passionate.Adaptable.Someone ready to do the kind of work the world needs.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
