We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful rollout of Windows 11 across our organisation. This is a high-impact project aimed at ensuring a seamless transition and optimal adoption of the new operating system.Role Overview:The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end implementation of the Windows 11 deployment. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing the project while managing stakeholders, resources, and timelines. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, experience with large-scale software rollouts, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and business units to ensure alignment and efficient execution.Lead regular project meetings to track progress, identify roadblocks, and facilitate effective communication across all teams.Manage the budget and ensure the project stays within financial constraints.Oversee user readiness activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and support plans.Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption.Provide regular status updates and detailed reporting to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry standards during the rollout.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on IT projects.Proven track record in managing large-scale OS upgrades or software deployments.Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).Familiarity with IT infrastructure and Windows environments is essential.PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.Key Competencies:Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.Ability to guide teams through change and foster a collaborative culture.
