KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a Project Manager for a Brisbane project in Queensland.
On offer will be a 55Hr week consisting of 10hrs Monday to Friday and 5hrs Saturday. Above award wages and penalties will be paid.
Key Responsibilities Review contract and specification to develop methodology and staffing requirements to meet or exceed contracted requirements.Assemble members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other personnel) at start of project.Ensure equipment and materials are delivered at specified times to conform to work schedule and contract requirements.Attend regular meetings with project personnel, projects contractors and Client representatives to ensure effective project performance, communication of progress and management of positive relationships.Utilise clear communication channels to ensure that a full understanding of the work scope is achieved amongst project personnel.Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.Confer with the supervision teams and Human Resources to resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce.Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of equipment and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to contract specifications and the construction schedule is adhered to.Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.Is responsible for overall safety performance on the works. Liaises with Senior management to obtain assistance and advice where required.Ensures quality requirements including MDR requirements are completed.Other duties as required and agreed between the Company and the Appointed Person.Controls expenditure within limitations of project budgets.Controls variations and prepares claims for projects.Prepares interim and completion project progress and financial reports. Ensure compliance with ethical practices and company policies and procedures.Ensure that client works are completed to the required quality, safety and environmental standards.
